Micromax X222 Latest Review

Micromax X222  Latest Review 2012

Review:

Micromax X222  Latest Review 2012.Latest mobile phone with dual sim.The Gurgaon based telecommunications company Micromax, known for its budget phones, came up with Micromax X222 in September 2011. The device is another addition to Micromax band wagon which propagates the idea of providing the consumers with ‘attractive phones at pocket friendly prices.’ This phone too lives up to the Micromax reputation of great looks, maximum possible features and a minimal price.

This phone is a low- cost, full touch screen phone, with a Dual Sim.  It runs on a standard Li-ion 900 mAh battery, which gives you up to 6 hours of talk time and up to 157 hours of standby time. Micromax X222 technical specifications also include a digital zoom 0.3 megapixels camera. The video player supports MP4 format and allows you to watch videos while on the move.

Micromax X222 Latest Features

1. Full touch screen, with joystick
2. Dual SIM
3. 0.3 Megapixels VGA Camera
4. Multi Format Music player (MP3/ AMR/ WAV)
5. Up to 8 GB expandable memory
6. Video player, FM Radio, GPRS, Bluetooth
7. 6 hours battery talk time
8. SMS, MMS
9. 900 mAh Li-ion battery
10. Vibration, Polyphonic and MP3 ringtones

Design

Micromax X222 is a small, cute looking candy bar form phone with a 2.4- inches display and TFT touch screen. The hand set dimensions are 92x52x14 mm. The curved edges give it a neat and compact look, complementing its tiny form,

It comes with a 240 x 320 px display resolution, containing 65000 display colours. The touch screen may not be able to match up to the high end touch screen phones’ sensitivity, but it isn’t going to be a disappointment either. Unlike other phones of this category and range, it does not have a washed out screen, which is the best part about this model.

Micromax X222 Review suggests it to be a feather weight phone, weighing just about 83 grams. However it is available in a standard black and red colour combination, which can get monotonous, boring and quite regular.

Disadvantages

1. Its tiny form can make the touch screen usage a little uncomfortably tedious on your hands, especially if you have bigger hands.
2. With such high resolution cameras in the market, one may look beyond this device, while judging on this aspect.
3. The phone does not enable video recording.
4. The loudspeaker is just about average.
5. The model neither supports EDGE or WiFi, nor is it compatible with 3G.

This product is another one of Nokia’s contribution to the mid range category of phone, targeting the first time smart phone users.  One of the remarkable Nokia 603 technical specifications is Near field communication (NFC), which is a much faster way of connecting your handset to other NFC enabled devices. Its 1 Ghz processor works better than its cousin Nokia N8, loading the web pages at a much faster speed and making browsing a better experience. The OS Symbian Belle runs smooth on the device, adding to the user experience while browsing through the internet on their devices.

A higher than average brightness due to 1000 nits output and a low reflection, courtesy Clear Black tech, make for a commendable outside visibility.  But the 5 mp camera cannot take clear macro shots. And despite being a 3G enabled phone, the front camera was given amiss.

Nokia 603 features their patent Nokia Maps and drive provides free lifetime navigation with voice guidance in most of the countries. Its visual display and the sound quality remain decent, complimented by a befitting battery life.

Verdict

Nokia 603 price in India is seen to be something which limits its growth in the market. Nokia could have slashed the prices to have an upper hand when being compared to more of its likes. It is currently priced in the range of 14460 INR. Nokia 608 review suggests that it certainly is a good option, but in the Symbian world only. While the Android mid rangers score way above this Finnish production, and are tough competitors to this device. They aggregate on better OS and a wider range of application though the android market.
